In collaboration with the Students’ Union & the University of Northampton our branch are organising a week of events to tackle sexual discrimination. All events are open to all students and staff, whether or not they are a member of a trade union – in fact as it’s UCU’s National Recruitment Week why not bring along a colleague and encourage them to join?
The programme is:
Monday 22 February 1-2pm, S014 (Park) – ‘Sexual Harassment & Violence on Campus’
A panel discussion co-chaired by Nick Cartwright, UCU Branch Secretary & Victor Agboola, President of Northampton Students’ Union.
The panel consists of: Helen Carr, National Head of Equality & Participation for UCU, Shelly Asquith, VP Welfare for the NUS & a representative from the University
Followed by drinks, nibbles & networking
